This program is intended to create a community of practice for an organizations cadre of facilitators. It is opened with an assessment of facilitator competencies and skills by individual facilitators resulting in a Facilitator Development Plan (FDP). The individual FDPs are used to develop the groups training and development needs and an assignment of training and development priorities. Based on the priorities three things will happen:
- Individual group members will be assigned to conduct minor research and present papers to each other at the community of practice meeting which is a regular monthly event. (3 to 5 hours per month)
- The Center will develop and present a series of six-hour training programs on requested topics related to the FDP priorities, one each month in conjunction with community of practice meeting.
- The Center will assist in developing an online Community of Practice Resource Center to collect documents including: research papers, methods, tools, and techniques.
