Wayne Vick is the heart of facilitation in the Mid-Atlantic States and the National Capital Region. As the founder and initial Chairman of the Mid-Atlantic Facilitators Network for 5 years, former president of the AQP National Capital Chapter for 6 years, Director of the DC Facilitators Workshop Series for 15 years, and a former director of the Global Facilitator Service Corps, he is unmistakably a leading professional group facilitator. He has been called upon to assist many organizations but continues to serve federal agencies and military organizations as a principle part of his work. Wayne was designated as a Certified Professional Facilitator (CPF) by the International Association of Facilitators (IAF) in 2002.
Wayne served our nation with 20 years of active duty service in a variety of technical, supervisory, training and managerial roles. Upon leaving federal service in 1994 he began assisting organizations in adapting culture and supporting systems while using the creativity and expertise of its workforce to create sustainable change. He employs a focused operating philosophy, effective business strategy, facilitative leadership, team-based planning and system-wide alignment initiatives. His primary professional focus has been on providing professional group process facilitation. Wayne fully believes that creating and sustaining shared values is the only way to sustain an organization through an environment requiring continual change.
Wayne holds a Masters of Business Administration from Troy State University, a Bachelors Degree in Management (Magna Cu Laude) from Park College and an Associate of Science in Instructional Technologies from Regents University. He is an adjunct professor for the Organizational Sciences program of George Washington University teaching Team Coaching and Facilitation.
Wayne is the Chief Executive Officer of the Dynamic Leadership Consulting Group, Inc. an organization he formed to focus his work on the developing profession of group facilitation, consulting and coaching. He is a charter member, Secretary and Webmaster of STAR Touring And Ridng Chapter #474 Manassas, VA.
